BA5T Lap

The sequil to the legendary BATT Lap.

They are not for the casual user. Optimized for 8000 grit sizes and below, they will not be as versatile as the regular BATT for the coarser grits.
These laps are intended for the experienced BATT user who requires a harder-finer-grained lap for HIGH SPEED PRODUCTION POLISHING processes.

Being a very complex alloy, having attendant casting quirks (It has to be nitrogen remelted, for example) requires a heavy ("Pro-Weight") 2.5 Kg casting, and extra machining steps.

This is a LIMITED PRODUCTION PRODUCT.

There are nine years of experience in the use of the BATT lap, and a substantial experience base of users, since there are 3,000 of the BATT laps in use.

This, however, is a product whose use will depend on the proficiency of the user. People who have mastered the use of the BATT™ lap will adapt quickly.
